Things are in the Works

It is officially fall and in Wyoming the weather actually changes with the season. The Calendar says September and but our internal thermometer say November. I am settling into the kids school work, and Kent is settling in to his apprenticeship work that is starting to expand beyond reading and writing papers. He has led a midweek bible study subbing for Lance, and we will be starting a weekly Discipleship group on Monday Oct 2nd. The D Group will consist of Kent and I and two other couples that live in our apartment complex. All of us are in a temporary state knowing that within the next year we will be moving, so Tyler is using our group as a guinea pig co-ed group. All the other D-groups in the church so far have been separated into women’s and men’s groups. Tyler wants to see how adding D-group with married couple will work in Outfitter Church.

The other two couples are Anja and Gage, and Nathan and Gracie. Both are newly wed couples that have been married for less than a year, and both have been called to Ministry in Wyoming. We are looking forward to discipling these newly weds and growing ourself in leadership. We will be starting with the book Growing Up by Robby Gallaty. Please be praying for us a we lead and pray for Anja, Gage, Nathan, and Gracie. That God will grow them over the next year and reveal to them how he wants to use them to build his Kingdom.

We also have a trip planned to Pinedale on October 20-22. This going to be a vision trip to Pinedale for some people who are praying about joining us in planting the church and being apart of our church planting team. This has been an active prayer request and we are very excited to see how God is going to answer this prayer. We are also going to meet with some residents in Pinedale who are possibly interested in being apart of a church plant.

So being praying for the Pinedale Trip, pray for the potential team members, the residents interested in a church plant, and pray that we get the opportunity to share the gospel with someone in Pinedale.

I really hope I will have an amazing God sized report in the next update, I hope I will get to introduce the potential team members. I will also do a detailed presentation of the church building in Pinedale and what we would like to do to give it a much needed face lift.

As always we appreciate all the support that we have received and continue to covet your prayers.
