Woodfins in Wyoming

July was packed!! Between Rendezvous Days, Sports Camp, and the final mission week, we have been rolling steady.

The highlight of the month was of course getting to spend 4 days in Pinedale. We stayed in the church building which allowed us to be right next to Treaders Row, one of the main Rendezvous locations. The parking lot of the building has been used for Rendezvous for the last 12 plus years and that was very encouraging to us and we look forward to continuing that relationship.

We spent the days walking the town, talking to people, and seeing what goes on during the towns biggest event. We got meet another pastor in the town. Duke the pastor of Wilderness Church, he and his team planted Wilderness church about ten years ago. We had great conversation, and he gave us some good insight into what it will take to plant another church in Pinedale.

Thank you for your prayers while we were in Pinedale. We came away encouraged. We see the development that we need for Pinedale and have a better understanding for how a new church will need to go about ministering to the community and sharing the gospel.

We got back from Pinedale and immediately jumped into Sports Camp. A 4 day camp for kids in the Bar Nunn Community. We had over 100 kids come through this camp. While they were with us we played sports, loved on them, feed them, and most importantly told them about Jesus Christ. Everyone had a great time, but by the end we were beat.

We had about a week off where we focused NAMB training, and this past week we had our last mission team of the summer come. We hosted another movie night and park party seeing some familiar faces from the previous mission weeks. We ended the week with Sunday morning worship, and we celebrate 3 baptisms, a father and his 2 children. They have been a part of Outfitter for the last year and the dad accepted Christ this past May. After seeing the change in their dad, the 2 kids also accepted Christ and we all celebrated with them this past Sunday.

It is moments like this Sunday that remind us why we are here. We want to see lives and families changed by the gospel. Continue to pray for us. Pray for our endurance as we to grow and continually show the love of Christ and share the gospel. Pray for the people around us that they see the love of Christ and come to know him as the personal Savior.
